Loose hinges make the glasses slide down the nose again and again. I try to balance my budget between basic everyday items and a few special pieces. If anyone has long term experience with certain online shops, I am always curious to read it. If many different people say the same thing about a product, it is worth paying attention.

Sometimes a store looks great in ads but the real product is completely different. Comfort around the heel and toes is more important than super fancy design. Nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking. Reviews that mention long term use are more valuable than comments written on day one. Cheap frames can look nice at first but bend easily or become loose after a few weeks. I enjoy reading threads where people honestly share what worked and what failed for them. I also check if the lenses have any blue light filter or anti-reflection coating.
